Stainless Steel 316 Turn Button latch
- Made of Marine Grade 316 Stainless Steel
- Maximum corrosion resistance and durability in the saltwater environment
- Polished to a beautiful, mirror-like finish
- A positive stop prevents the latch from disengaging when in the locked position
- Can be used on marine boat, access doors, bait well lids, hatches, center console doors, tackle units, and drawer units, electrical enclosure
Characteristic - Based on tests done to the ASTM B117 method suggest a 316 type part could be expected to pass a 300-hour test using a 0.3% salt spray
- Polished by hand to a mirror finish to assist in making a quality part.
- In the passivation process after buffing, acid and rinsing remove surface contaminants from the products and produce a hydrous oxide film which enhances corrosion resistance.
